Goodbye Terri.
Terry Schiavo died today. Despite the differences that people may have about this whole situation, I hope she is finally at peace. I'm glad she is free of the spectacle this situation created. I hope for comfort for her family, whichever side they may have chosen. Lastly, I hope this encourages honest communication among family and one another.

It prompted me to write a living will which states that I am to be sustained indefinitely on life support machines with the stipulation that doctors must beat me senseless with a baseball bat once per day.

I told my parents that they better get there shit straightened out cause there was no way I wanted to make those types of decisions! I have to check with them to make sure they follow through. I had best come up with one myself!
