Goodbye Terri.
Terry Schiavo died today. Despite the differences that people may have about this whole situation, I hope she is finally at peace. I'm glad she is free of the spectacle this situation created. I hope for comfort for her family, whichever side they may have chosen. Lastly, I hope this encourages honest communication among family and one another.

My New Love
This is my new dog, Winnie! I got her about a month ago at the Potsdam Humane Society! She's a little nervous, I don't think she was very well treated before I got her. She's two years old, and weighs about 11 lbs. So far we are getting along great, she and Thurston (my cat) get along well and she loves to go to my parents and play with their Golden Lab Jessie. She did not like having her picture taken, and after about 20 minutes of me trying to get just the right one she ran off!

"With Your Satin Tights, Fighting For Our Rights..."
Apparantly, the creator of "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" (a show I've never watched) is going to make a "Wonder Woman" movie. I feel a mixture of excitement and dread. Excitement cause I have always loved "Wonder Woman", every since I was very little. Beautiful, sexy, fierce, with beautiful hair and a kick-ass tiara that doubled as a boomerang! Dread because so many adaptations of superhero movies today suck and I hope this isn't one of them. Also because to this day I cannot imagine anyone but Linda Carter playing her! I just can't imagine who they would cast. I hope it isn't some bimbo and they change "Wonder Woman's" hair color to blonde. Or that they ruin her suit. I just don't know what to expect.

A New Week...
Rent was awesome!! What a great show! Had an awesome time in Ottawa, the kids behaved very well, a very nice but very tiring day!

A Break From It All
Today I am taking 9 students up to Ottawa to see a performance of "Rent" at the National Arts Centre. I am very excited, it is a show I have wanted to see for a long time. We are also going to go to the National Gallery Of Canada. Fun fun fun! And all only an hour and a half away!

Up And Running!!
Well, thanks to my wonderful friend Anna, I am up and running again! I have nice new colors, and much better security! I had a little problem with spam in my comments, which had gotten up to over 11,000 comments (just ask Anna, she's the one who cleaned it all out for me)! Therefore, if you want to comment, you need to go to TypeKey and get a free password. Sorry if this is inconvenient, but it is the best way for keeping the porno spam out! I hope it doesn't deter you from visiting and posting!

That's what it feels like outside! It is killing me! And my poor dog! She hates going outside, but has to go to the bathroom, and thankfully doesn't like to go inside, so it usually involves multiple trips in and out until the job is done. When will it warm up? Anyone have any inside info?
